1. Buy a AirPrint enabled printer; see list below

2. Run the CD provided and setup as network printer; this will setup your printer to the same network as your iPad

3. Start printing from your iPad without wire

Hi,

The Deskjet 3510 do support AirPrint, however have to be connected to your wireless network first.

Be sure to run the software installation on your computer, it will connect the pritner to your router as part of the isntallation, then it should be available for your iPad.

If the pritner connected to your network and still can't be located, ensure the iPad connected to the same network.. if that doesn't help please clarify your router brand and model.

I set this up for my mother-in-law last night. Everything looked like it should "just work", wireless enabled, same network, but no luck.

**** On a whim I turned OFF IPV6 on the printer and everything just worked! ****

In this day in age the fact that Apple is NOT using IPV6 is shameful.

There was zero chance that my 75 year old mother-in-law would have ever figured this out.

Once IPV6 was turned off, we could AirPrint from her iPad and our iPhones / iPads.
