Lately I cannot change the information of the "Notes" field in address Book. If I erase, or add, or change anything in notes and after few seconds it reverts to the original one. I tried to restart, turn off WiFi, repair permissions to no avail. It seems like some program that re-writes the information previously stored. Any help ?

Open Address book, select the person, go to notes click edit make your edits (you can double click on the persons name and window with a larger notes field will pop up) after editing press command S. That should save your changes. Hope this helps. Best

Nope, it just won't save - even "Command S" doesn't work. Can the "Mac address book" just be replaced with a more reliable option??
