Submitting proof of purchase for my macbook pro but I can't upload a document

Im having the same problem. Except that ive tried ALL the formats, by continously rescanning the document in different formats. Still no luck.

Marissa333 what program are you using to upload? What link?

I'm also having this problem. I'm trying to register my apple care protection plan for the Macbook Pro.

They didn't used to ask for the proof of purchase.

And now as they ask the page is problematic.

I tried pdf, and JPEG and gif, but the website keep on saying "We're sorry, but this file is not a valid filetype. GIF, JPEG and PDF files are accepted. Please try again"

can some one help?

Fine. But, still, there is a very annoying bug that should be fixed. I have got the same problem starting from http://www.apple.com/fr/support/applecare/welcome/ and sent to https://selfsolve.apple.com/Dispute.do?transType=Agreement_Enrollment.

Report it to the Product Feedback website.

@CMCSK: i did call and they sort it out.

But i do agree that they HAVE TO fix this. it's much more convenient to do-it-yourself over the internet, taking less than 3 minutes. rather than to call and email stuffs especially, if you use digital phones/mobile...

for some reason when the apple call back, if i pick up the phone using mobile/digital phone, it doesn't recognize me pressing 1 button...

anyway... it's all sorted for me by calling them. =/

If you use Firefox, please try Safari or IE .

I also have this problem when I use Firefox , and no problem with IE.

I'm having the same problem. I've tried with Chrome and Safari (on my Macbook Pro) to no avail. Very frustrated.

It won't let me do it either. Been trying it for a few days. I've tried FF and Safari. Registered a friend's no problem, but it asks me to submit proof for mine and then won't let me. Very frustrating. I've complained to Apple Feedback and Support, but nothing has come of it. Dropping the ball lately Apple, as I'm sure we're not the only people having problems.

Same problem here while trying to submit proof of purchase for AppleCare.

Tried PDF, JPG & JPEG extensions. Files created in Preview and Gimp. All failed.

You'd think they'd notice that after a month of no 'proofs' being submitted that perhaps something is wrong with their site.

Christmas eve and my new MBP has arrived... I too have the same bug.

I'll follow the product feedback advice and also register by phone.

Unbelievable. This is STILL broken. Apple has their collective heads up their you-know-what.

Funny enough, I tried to submit this to Apple Feedack because it still isn't working, and all 3 times I tried it errored out. I don't know if it sent it or not, but I wouldn't hold my breath folks. Ridiculous.

Having the same issue... Tried Chrome and Safari browsers with no luck with my .pdf.
