Unable to Connect to FaceBook Account

Hello All,

I have just searched for the problem already in the forum. The suggestions were not successful in my situation. I have just reinstalled Mac OS and literally installed iPhoto. I enter in all my details into the account settings section and it always responds with

'An unknown error occured, please try again later'.

I have tried using all variations of my username from facebook email, screen name etc but everything fails.

Can anyone please help me out. Everything is up to date.

MacBook Pro OS 10.8.2

iPhoto 9.4.2
