Earpods middle button not fully functional iPhone 5
The middle button of my earpods works only for Siri. The skip/pauze function doesn't work.
I also tried it on my old 3GS and it works on that one.

I had this exact same problem and a hard reset (with power and home button together) solved the problem. I really hope this works for you too.
