Olympus E-30 RAW shifted left and top - no more DNG workaround

Hi folks,

something very strange happens again, unfortunately:

Aperture shifts the Olympus RAW photos (.ORF) relatively to the JPG to left and top. Only E-30, but iPhoto and Aperture with same failure. Converting the ORF by Adobes DNG Converter was a workaround which was some additional effort but put RAW and JPG on the same coordinates back again, so all my E-30 RAWs where converted to DNG before imported into Aperture.

That fixed the shifting - but not any longer!

In the current version of Aperture (3.4.3) on Mountain Lion 10.8.2 all my photos become shifted again! So, Aperture does the same failure not only on the ORF, but now even with the DNG converted RAW!

There has been a discussion here, but no fix came along. Just the workaround, and that is broken now.

Any glue how to get the E-30 DNG converted RAWs processed with correct position?

Thanks a lot for your ideas,

Kai C.
