App store on iPhone not updating apps - hangs & then quits.

AppStore on my iPhone shows I have 3 apps with updates, but when I click on App Store and go to "Updates", it just hangs and eventually closes. Anyone else having same issue? This has been happening sporatically since the IOS6 update. Some days it works, other times it won't work for days even though it's indicating there are apps in need of update. Strange.

I've tried rebooting. I've tried force-closing the app and restarting it. I've tried switching from Wi-Fi to 3g. Don't know what else would work. Can't find any other posts out here for this so thought maybe I'm the only one having the issue.
