Facebook / iCloud Contact Priority?

Why do Facebook contacts have priority over iCloud contacts?

i.e. I don't have the contacts linked nor do I want to have them linked. The Facebook contact precedes the iCloud contact in All Contacts as well as the personalized ring tones and text tones assigned to my iCloud contacts don't get used. Is it possible to change this priority without having to remove the Facebook contacts as this is only a problem for duplicate contacts and I am not a fan of the "linking" of contacts?
