Prior to the OS6 upgrade, iBooks on my iPhone 4S was supported by a dictionary, now all it asks is whether I want to search the web for a definition - is there a fix?

If dictionary isn't working across Apple apps like it should, you may want to try the iPhone forums and/or walk your device into the nearest Apple Store and ask help to check settings, etc. there - it's their job and they love to support iPhone users 🙂

Good luck in any case.
