Can't insert CD
Inserted a CD and imported songs to iTunes.
Ejected CD from desktop
Now cannot insert any other CDs
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
Does it show in Disk Utility? If so, try eject ftom there. Otherwise, restart and see what happens.

Restarted, CD will not go past half way
Try restarting holding your mouse button down.
Sounds like you have a foreign object in the optical drive.
If you are extremely lucky maybe you can fish it out with a thin piece of cardboard with a hook cut in the end of it.
