Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Date shows december 1 2012 only in 1 user account

When clicking on the data in the menu bar it shows the date as December 1 2012 but in the menu bar itself it does show the correct date. Also when checking mail all the emails show received december 1 2012. I have tested in a new user and the issue is not present and I have also pull the users menu clock preferences from the user library but that didnt help either. Besides a reinstall of the system is there another way to resolve the issue?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Have you gone to system preferences and made sure this acct is set to all the correct settings, time,date,time zone.

You might try a SMC reset.

I reset the PRAM and SMC but that didnt help. The setting are all correct in the system preferences as that was the first thing I checked.

You can try deleting and recreating the account, do not delete the home folder for the account.

Well moving the users preferences folder to make it create all new preferences did the trick without having to create a new user.
