albums dont organise in track order.

hi. for some reason organising my itunes library by 'date added' means the albums are never in order and displayed together.

is there any way of organising it so albums (in track order) show in 'date added'?

thanks!

They all appear to have been added at the same time and date. Are these store downlods? They may be tagged according to download creation time and the downloads are not finishing in order. You could avoid this in future by telling iTunes not to do parallel downlods, and then hope that it downlods them an album at a time.

Check the Dougscripts web site. There is a script that lets you edit the date added field.

Even giving each album the same DateAdded value won't help much. Last time I checked in order to have Date Added (Descending) list the tracks in the correct album order they need to be added in reverse order at least 1 second apart otherwise tracks added within the same second are listed in alphabetical name order. I have a Windows script for this, but I'm not aware of a Mac equivalent.
