Q: Computer not authorized to play a particular song off an album?

Hi any help would be very much appreciated.

I've just bought an album from iTunes (Born to Die - The Paradise Edition by Lana Del Rey) all the songs would appear to have downloaded ok and all of them play except one song.

iTunes says the computer is not authorized to play "Cola". Which is weird as all the other songs downloaded at the same time, with the same account are played with no authorization needed.

I've put my Apple ID/password in but it just says 'including this one, you have authorised 5 computers out of your available 5', I don't think that is correct, but even if it was why then are all the other songs working?

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Rob

If you are in a country where re-downloading is possible (check this with iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match Availability by Country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085), delete the track (and the original file) and download again (Downloading [using iOS or computer] past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519).  See tips on downloading in https://discussions.apple.com/message/19097773, especially unchecking the "Allow Simultaneous Downloads" box in the downloads tab of iTunes.

Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.

If you cannot download a second time, contact iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history or,

I have a similar - and I suspect different question.  I get a very similar error message - and candidly I have been for years depending on what I'm trying to play.  Some of the music in my library is old, and copied into my library form CD's vs buying through iTunes.

Here's the problem: when I come to some of these songs in my library, I get a opo-up that states:

"This computer is not authorized to play....<song title here>" and it asks me to sign in with my Apple ID.  Here's the real question: the Apple ID box pre-fills with an ancient (and no longer valid) email address.  Every single time?!?!  I can't figure out how iTunes knows that email.  How do I:

    1. Erase it form where it is tired, and
    2. Play that songs?
