iTunes not downloading CD's instead displaying "Not available"

I am having trouble downloading CD's to iTunes, in that the first song of the album only partially downloads and the rest of the songs download in super quick time but then display in the time slot for the song "Not available." I have binned iTunes and downloaded a fresh version with the same results, also I have changed the download settings and got the same result. Need help!!!

iTunes does not download CDs.

Are you attempting to download music from iTunes? Rip music from CDs or burn music to CDs?

I am attemping to Rip music from CD's. I have even tried Ripping CD's that previsously worked and downloaded, but now they do not. I recently had a computer crash and had to reinstall iTunes and ever since the problem exists.

Downloading music from iTunes works, so I don't understand why the CD's don't.

Any errors when ripping music from the CD's?

Ripping media from CD's does not download anything. Ripping and downloading are two completely different tasks. One working has no bearing on the other working.

It may be necessary to completely uninstall iTunes and all Apple components, then reinstall.
