Why can't my Ipod Touch fully connect to wifi?

I open my wifi and type in the password,which i know is 101% right,it starts to load, but it nver load fully, meaning that i never get the check mark beside my wifi. It either just keeps loading for a very long time, until i just give up, or it stops loading. this has happend even after i reset network settings,and it getting very frusterating.
