Trying to set up apple tv but it's saying not connected to network chose settings and the remote isn't allowing me to change it.
Is not letting you change what? What setting are you trying to select? Is it grayed out?
You probably need to unpair and pair your remote. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1555
First unpair the remote, then pair again. Hope that works!
I had the same problem, remote not working (even though the white light shows it's aware it exists).
