Oct 9, 2014 7:44 PM in response to Carli8020by Area Coding,SIMPLE SOLUTION!!! Hope This Helps, it did for me. I plugged in a pair of ear-buds and waited about 3 seconds and audio started to play on Youtube. I removed them and instantly there was sound!!!

I tried all the solutions here in this discussion, thank you all by the way. And guess what it was? OMG! I had somehow "muted" YouTube! LOL!! Make sure you have not "x" out the speaker in the video! So funny!

One thing, though: Inexperienced command-line users may not know that '/Flash Player/' won't work—but '/Flash*Player.' will. UNIX doesn't like blank spaces very much.
