I moved a folder by copying it and pasting it into a new location. It is now greyed out but seems accessible. How can I change it all back to normal?

Can you post a screen shot? I don't believe I've ever seen a 'grey' folder...

Do a Command-i on it to bring up the info pane and see what the access permissions are.
It seems to be the same as everything else
Give us another screen shot with the folder size and the number of files it contains.

Yep - there's something in that folder... and I've still no idea why it's greyed out.
Do this - go to Step by Step to fix your Mac and read section 6 - Reset User's Permissions.
See if that will 'fix' the greyed-out folder...

I have turned the computer off and on again. It now looks normal. Very strange. THank you for your input.
You know - sometimes that's all it takes: a simple restart...
Still, this is one for the books - I've never seen a greyed out folder like that.
