Is there a way to get Safari 6 to present consistently functioning links?

I am finding that pages links in Safari 6 are highly unreliable. I would say that about 1/3 of links on most pages simply do not function. Reloading a page often results in links that do work. So I constantly need to reload pages - not ideal.

This problem happened with Safari 5, however to a significantly lesser degree. It progressed from an annoyance in v5 to a real problem in v6.

I see no patterns to the behavior. It affects most every site. Flash, always a problem, does not seem to be a factor in this case. I am wondering whether it is a bug in the HTML 5 implementation.

Does anyone have a notion on this one?
