Uploading Book failure in iPhoto

I have spent days trying to upload a book and followed the help from a number of very kind contributers but so far all to know avail.

I've created new libraries - used Safe mode,applied various fixes, re launched using command+option etc.

The problem is still there.

In safe mode just closes down iPhoto as soon as it tries to launch the upload (doesn't even assemble)

In normal mode, assembles and the blue line in upload sometimes stays at the beginning and other times jumps to various positions but does not upload and freezes to computer - can't even use force quite.

Desparation creeping in!!

Any kind person any ideas.

Is it possible to export the completed book project to an iPad and upload from there.
