Hi to all,
pls help - how do I change system language in OSX 10.6.8 from English to Czech? Went to System Preferences > Language & Text, made "Czech" the topmost value, but the system stayed in English... 😟

Apple only made Czech system language available starting with 10.7.0. Just upgrade your OS to have it.
Sometimes localization files for earlier versions were available via the Apple organizations in the countries where the language was spoken. You might check with http://www.apple.com/cz/

You have to buy upgrades of the sort that you need.
