Yep. Printer queue stuck in, "connecting to printer", then "unable to connect". Uninstalled HP printer software in Applications (left over from pre-Mountain Lion days) and deleted printers from system preferences/printers & scanners.
Re-installed HP software from: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907
