I think it's ridiculous that you can't turn off the whoosh when a text has been sent. Regardless if others like this feature, a lot do not,and I am one of them. You can't be inconspicuous and it's not fair! I want it gone but there is no option for it!

You may be right, I don't use text messages much, I do use email a lot and its off there. I'm with you on it being rediculous not being abe to disable it.
