i have a 4S locked to Sweden 3. How can i unlock it?

Contact them and find out if they provide unlocking services, and if they do, do you qualify. Only the carrier the phone is locked to can authorize an unlock.
Thanks for your input. I cant seem to get the carrier to unlock. Is there any other method?
Not any supported method. To officially unlock the device so it can be updated in the future, you need the carrier to unlock it. If they will not support unlocking, then you have no other official method.
What if its unofficial. I can do without the updating of iOS. currently its on 6.0.1.
The discussion of unofficial methods is not allowed on this forum. It violates the TOS. Google is where you need to go. Just remember this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3743 and if you try and update the device in the future, it will be locked back again to the original carrier. Better off selling it to someone locally that uses that network and purchasing an unlocked phone if they are available in your area.
