am i stuck with 10.5.8 for ever?

some one told me that mac os x 10.5.8 is the last update for power pc is this true? cause i cannot open anything on my pc since the last upgrade. neither download anything.. my garage band erased and my flash player doesnt support youtube videos or any other.. is there a fix for this ?? plz help. 😐
