iTunes won't load. I can't update my iPhone. It says I can look for help, but nothing happens. What's going on Apple???

Are there any error messages when trying to open iTunes?
Just an option to look for a solution online or close the program. Only no solutions come up and it really doesn't seem to go anywhere. I have uninstalled & reinstalled iTunes and nothing seems to be helping.
It seems to be with the newest update and I can't even go back to the 10.6

Not only will my iTunes not load (I have Vista), but my computer will not recognize my iPhone. Both issues started at the same time.
