How do I identify top case identifying/part number? (keyboard mouse replacement)

In an earlier post user "Kappy suggested" I visit ifixit.com to learn how to replace the top case.

However, there are so many permuations of this laptop, I need to idenffy the exact top case part in the macbook so I can order the right one.

Only the exact model will work on my laptop according to what I have read on buying sites.

Could someone kindly tell me how to find an indentifying/part number for the top case?

Thank you very much.
