Nov 17, 2012 9:38 PM in response to najminby Andrew111111,The problem is with the actual update itself. I was on the phone to Apple with the same problem. For some reason the update won't be able to install on 13" retina macbooks until they release a new one.
The guy i spoke to said he was unsure as to how long that would be.
Hope that helped...
Now hopefully your not OCD because that little red "1" over the app store icon is driving me crazy!

Nov 18, 2012 12:58 AM in response to najminby Jerendra,Same here.
I got my 13'' retina last thursday and could update to 10.8.2. A couple of hours later the machine crashed all the time. I brought it back to the apple store and they exchanged the unit. When I got home I tried the system update - and got all the issues mentioned above. I'm starting to wonder whether Apple pulled the update for the 13'' retina MBP since the update resulted in the crash.
