i need to find a os x 10.5 download where are they?

• You cannot download 10.5 (Leopard). It only comes on DVD. If you find a download, it is A) illegal and B) it may be a trojan to install malware on your Mac.
• You cannot download 10.6 (Snow Leopard). It only comes on DVD. If you find a download, it is A) illegal and B) it may be a trojan to install malware on your Mac.
• You can download 10.7 (Lion) if and ONLY if you have Snow Leopard installed with the App Store, AND your Mac is not able to upgrade to Mountain Lion - Must contact Apple store to get special code
• You can download 10.8 (Mountain Lion) if and ONLY if you have Snow Leopard or Lion installed, and your Mac can upgrade to Mountain Lion.

If that does not work, try eBay or similar reseller. Make sure you do not buy a "Gray" colored DVD as the gray colored DVD are tied to a specific Make and Model Mac.
