Shooting 720p 60fps?

I shot some XDCam 720p 60fps.

I bring it into Final Cut.

How would I use this to get the slow motion effect?

If I drop the 720p 60fps. on a 30fps timeline ... doesn't seem to have an effect (still looks normal). If I change the speed of the clip (slower by 50%) ... it just looks like 30fps slowed down.

Not sure what the trick is here...?

Convert the scenes you want to use to ProRes, 59.97 - then take those files into Cinema Tools and conform the clips to 29.97.

Then import those conformed clips into your project, they will be running at 50% of real time.
