ipad 4 charger??

Question

ipad 4 charger??

I assume (but that makes an *** out of U and me) that the old 10amp chargers work just fine with the new iPad 4 but will take about 20% longer to charge?

Yes, that's about right.

5A chargers will take 140% longer to charge.

How about if I put the iPad below the charger, so the cable is declined?

Won't the power flow faster downhill?

Thanks. I have to decide where I want my faster charge :-)

I'm surprised the 5a is only 40% slower - that isn't bad for the reduced size on a long trip...
