My iPad won't wake. What do I do?

My iPad is stuck in sleep/locked mode. I have an apple smart case and I opened the cover and it didn't wake/unlock and nothing seems to turn the screen on. Does anyone know what I should do?

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 6.0.1, I have a PC with windows vista

Try a reset:



Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.
