No playlist support for Remote app on ipad?

I have the Remote app installed on my iphone5 and ipad2. I have home sharing turned on and I've connected the Remote app on both devices to my itunes library. I also set up itunesDJ as follows: http://www.macworld.com/article/1151527/remote_app_tips.html

I using an ATV3 to play my library via the Remote apps. I can edit the itunesDJ remote playlist from the Remote app on my phone but there is no playlist support in the ipad Remote app. The only playlists that show up are the fixed playlists (90's Music, Music Videos, Recently Added etc). The itunesDJ remote playlist shows up when play is initiated from my phone but all I can do is view the song queue (no editing). The playlist disappears when I stop playing it. Is this a known bug for the Remote app on ipad or is playlist support specifically excluded from functionality. I suppose the only work around is to install the iphone version of the app on my ipad?

Thanks for any comments.

I'm having a similar issue with the Remote app. I have created playlists of podcasts in iTunes but they won't play via Remote. Remote will display the playlists but won't play them. Plus for some reason the order of podcasts within the playlist is changed versus what it is in iTunes. As far as I can tell there is only one version of the Remote app, not separate iPhone and iPad versions. I guess it is possible that the app behaves differently depending on which device it is running on.
