I've spent hours creating this photo video and now I can't find anywhere to burn it to a disc. The new mountain lion doesn't have iDVD, which apparently did it before. I also read that I could burn it in the disc utility but it doesn't recognize the movie. It says it's a read only, how do I change that? And how do I burn it to a disc?
MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
IDVD is easy to get. It is available on disk as part of iLife 11.
IDVD is a wonderful piece of software and well worth the low cost of $40.

I have a new Air with no old DVD version of iLife to load iDVD 7, and living in China waiting for a hard copy to be delivered wasn't an option. So your alternative solutions saved lots of
time and heartache.
