Is it safe to charge my iPhone 5 on 40%? what i mean is, even though it is not on 20% below is it safe or good for the phone ? and is it safe if i unplug the iPhone without being 100% on battery percentage?
for example im charging my phone and the battery is on 70% is it okey to unplug and continue later?

I regularly charge my battery when it has much more than 20% remaining. I've done that for many years with many (6) iPhones.

I do it all the time. Has not caused a problem for me.
Safe? I think so. I just would not recommend making that a habit. Do it when you have to, but not regularly.
