Q: cant get visual voicemail keeps asking me to call voicemail

I have visual voicemail set up, but instead of being able to view my visual voicemail my phone directs me to CALL voicemail instead.

    Call your voicemail.  You can do that by holding down the "1" key on the telephone keypad.  You may be asked for your voicemail password.  Once you have authenticated, the chances are visual voicemail will work for you after that.
