FCP 10.0.6 Freezing and Crashing

Help, please.

I'm running FCP 10.0.6 on Lion 10.7.5. Far too often, my system freezes at times that I simply cannot duplicate; its random, but it happens and it requires a hard shut down and reboot of FCP. I've tried moving the entire one-hour project over to a different drive running Firewire 800 and still the same problem. I've tried running the project from my 1TB Seagate internal drive, same problem. It happens regardless of what source footage I use. I can't duplicate the issue anywhere. It just happens, it seems, at moments when I am usually trimming or retiming a clip; really, it happens at moments that I don't why WHY! PLEASE, can APPLE, just have a look at the code of FCP 10.0.6. I know that there are others in our editing community that are suffering from this same issue. I've read some of the posts in the forums. THIS IS A PROBLEM! PLEASE, APPLE...do something about it. There is SOMETHING in the 10.0.6 code that must be causing this. I've looked at everything that I'm doing here and it just doesn't appear to be anything on my end. I cannot recall having this issue with earlier versions of FCP! It seems to me that it started with this new update. I don't know what else to say. IF ANYONE ELSE in our community is suffering from this occurance, please speak up and together maybe APPLE SOFTWARE engineers will take notice and have a look at some rogue code that is at the core of this issue.

My video card appears to be fine. As I said, I don't recall having this issue with earlier releases of FCP. Here's my info:
