iOS 6.0.1 keyboard bug fix caused a new bug?

After upgrading to 6.0.1, I've found a new bug in my iPhone 5 keyboard: in every situation where the screen would have glitched pre-update (which I never experienced anyway), my keyboard is now a transparent blue color, which makes it difficult to use. I've tried a reboot and a hard reset, neither have caused any changes. I'm about to try a complete restore, but before I do, I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and maybe solved it.

I have a similar issue with an iPhone 4S but not all keys are blue. Once i figure out how to post a pic (don't see how on an iPhone)i will (i have a screenshot).

FInally got it to post using the Desktop Site in Chrome on my iPad 2...

I have the same issue...mostly when I turn the phone sideways, and using apps other than Apple-authorized apps, such as Chrome and Fast Notes. The keyboard totally disappears in Fast Notes!

It is a problem related with the iOS update, not everyone presented the problem. But if you download the new update 6.1.1 it will get fixed automatically.

I have the same problem in iphon4s with ios 6.1.2. Only with app Chrome when try to write in address bar.

Also having the same issue with iPhone 4s, ios 6.1.3 and while using Chrome - other apps I think too, but not sure which ones off hand. It seems to be a little random.

Try going to Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> Keyboards. Then select a keyboard, change the layout and put it back again. Or just do some change then return to your previous settings.

Do you think that the OP hasn't solved this during the 7 months since he posted? The updating the iOS is the solution. Don't confuse this probelm with a bug in Chorme, like the previous 2 posts did.
