okay everytime i plug my iphone 3gs in to restore , right in the middle of the restore it stops and says i need the passcode, but idk the passcode cause my friend put it on there one night tryna be funny and now its lockkd up and idk what to do?

You need to put iPhone into Recovery Mode and Restore with iTunes on computer. Open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. Click Restore button of iTunes.

i did that, but it keeps sayin i need the passcode to proceed with the restore?
