Q: Insufficient Privileges Message

I can no longer drag items to the trash. It asks for my password, then says I have insufficient privileges to complete this operation. I am the only admin on this powerPC. Help?

powerPC, Mac OS X (10.4.2)

Hello, do a Get info on the item you're trying to drag to the Trash as well as the folder it's in, what are the Rights? Is it Locked?
