Hi Clinton

My MBP is from mid-2010 its a 6.2 (it says) with intelcore 17 and 4M0 and OS version 10.6.3.

.... your help is much appreciated. I get an error report indeed when I restart ...and sometimes I "save" this but i have no idea where i could find back these savings on my computer .... sorry for my limited understanding

the screen of my MBP also goes black when i try to connect a beamer (video projector) through this special slot i bought.

maybe it is the graphics card and if so, would thie be reparable and how to do?

thanks for you advise

best

Try running the Apple Hardware Test and note any errors that might be reported.

The AHT isn't as robust as the tests that the techs use at Apple Stores or AASPs. If the problem persists - and whether or not the AHT shows errors - I would take the machine into your local Apple Store or a nearby AASP and have them take a look at it. I suspect a GPU problem, but I could be wrong.
