When I create an Excel table using Mac 2008 I am able to print high quality. After saving and upon reopening of the file I am only able to print in Standard quality (light shade). How do I remedy so I can print high quality?

To make matters worse this standard setting is a light shade. I am unable to change the print quality to High (it is shaded out.) How do I remedy so I can print high quality?
