Just bought a refurbed ipad3 and the songs, movies and videos will not play with sound. All the apps and videos taken with the camera have audio but not anything from the library. Please advise. Thank you

Just bought a refurbed ipad3 and songs and videos will not play there is no sound. All the apps play sound but not tunes movies or videos from library. Thanks
