How can i see my camera roll photos on my macbook?

I have just gotten an iPhone 5 and i need to get photos from it onto my Macbook asap! Any one have any ideas ?

MacBook (13-inch Mid 2010), Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Get iphoto and sync your photos with it.
