why do i keep getting duplicates in my itunes library?

I notice I songs in my iTunes library keep getting duplicated. A lot of them seem to be purchases I've made with my iTunes account. I have iTunes Match enabled, Cloud storage and have an iPhone 4S. Is it possible it's duplicating these items for some reason from my phone or the cloud?
