I had an audiobook on my MacBook pro that I'd like to share with my other apple products. I can't see the file on my iPhone or iPad. My MacBook is dead.

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download, and if your Macbook doesn't work then you won't be able to share or sync it from it. Do you have it on a backup and another computer that you can use to sync it to your iPad and/or iPhone ? If you don't have a backup of it (and it's still in the store) then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download of it : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
