I pad. FaceTime

I'm having trouble logging in on settings for FaceTime on my I pad. I've tried to change the password several times, but when I go to log in on FaceTime, it doesn't recognize the password. I was trying to reset the FaceTime info., Because the last few times I used it it goes in and out and is a very waive connection. Does anyone have any ideas?
