how do i completely restore my emac to its factory settings? help please!
Mac OS X (10.3.x)
Insert your Install disk 1 into the drive and then Restart, and hold down the C key to take you to the installation windows.
Select your language, the start up Volume and choose Erase and Install.
I don't have the disk. Any other ideas
Sorry, you can't "restore" it without an install disk, but what is the exact problem or scenario, maybe other things will work!?
Well is what is happening is that whenever I go into safari it crashes. It will let me stay on that apple website and browse around on there but whenever I try to go to something else like for say google, it crashes.
I think the most modern Browser for Panther/10.3.9 is Camino...
http://caminobrowser.org/releases/1.6.9/
Or iCab 4.8...
