I have Internet access, can surf the web and send/receive mail, but out of the blue I can't iMessage or use FaceTime. I have rebooted, signed out and back in all to no avail. It won't recognize my contacts as registered now either.

iMessage has stopped working. It has worked fine for the approx. 6 months I have had it and then today it just stopped. I have Internet access...can surf the web and send mail, but can't use iMessage or FaceTime. I have rebooted, signed out of messages and back in all to no avail. I have had messages saying my password or user name was wrong(it wasn't), then it couldn't verify because the sever could not be reached. And it does not recognize any of my contacts as registered users....even though I have previously successfully iMessages them in the past.

Hope somebody can help me resolve this.
