Several general questions

Hi there,

I have a couple of general questions about distribution possibilities for an iBook.

My partner is a veterinary specialist and I am wanting to try to help her create some specialised educational books. She has connections with some educational establishments and an ideal model for distribution would be for a University to purchase perhaps100 versions / licences of the book when it is created and allow classrooms of students to use and access them.

Can this be done? Do books have to be purchased via a single iTunes account and not be permitted to be re-distributed, even via educational establishments? Also, can the author give copies away for free - via an iTunes download code or something similar?
